Hi Marius!
Really simple stuff: the 3.5mm tip will go to a 1K resistor and two 1N4148 diodes: the first will connect with its cathode to the 5V (coming from the NS1) and the second with its anode to the 0V of the NS1. The same signal (after the resistor) will go to the patchcable.
The 3.5mm shield will go directly to the NS1’s 0V.
