Can anyone find a source for an adapter for the barrel-port power plug that doesn’t exceed the recommended 160mA amperage?

(The new iPad camera adapter that supplies USB power can’t supply the nanosynth for some reason…)

as far as i know, you want a supply that exceeds the maximum draw of the nanosynth. if it’s bigger, that’s a good thing – that means it generates enough current to power the device. an excess isn’t a problem.

Voltage is a different story, but we’re talking about current.

Maybe I just have a crap power supply, then… hmm.

Is there an upper bound on how much amperage to supply?

    Don’t know.

Is your power supply the correct polarity? That’s a common mistake.
